Her mother, Jen, was keenly aware that Aubrie would inevitably need to learn about her Trill heritage, but instead of imposing this knowledge upon her, Jen and Aubrie's father opted to take a more nurturing approach. They encouraged their daughter to discover her roots at her own pace, allowing her the freedom to choose how she wanted to connect with her culture. Despite not possessing the traditional Trill spots characteristic of her species, Aubrie had features that delighted her mother, reflecting a unique blend of her parents’ characteristics. Additionally, Aubrie was one of the only two siblings in her family who could host a Trill symbiote, an ability that hinted at her potential for future greatness. From a very young age, Aubrie exhibited a boundless curiosity and an infectious energy that seemed to fuel her every action. Her outstanding performance in two of the Academy’s most grueling marathons showcased her endurance, determination, and commitment to her goals. Aubrie completed several significant internships during her time at the Academy, including a pivotal role in a security detail on a diplomatic mission and a practical training exercise in threat assessment. Her hands-on experiences allowed her to develop vital skills in situational awareness, crisis management, and conflict resolution. Her instructors recognized her potential early on, praising her exceptional skills and radiant beauty. After graduating with honors and completing an array of demanding military training programs, Aubrie landed her first assignment as a Security Officer on a starship, quickly distinguishing herself in the field.
