I am pleased to document my recent promotion to the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade, along with my new role as Chief Security and Tactical Officer aboard the USS Eminence. With the Frontier Day celebration approaching, the atmosphere on the ship is charged with excitement. This event not only commemorates the legacy of the Enterprise NX-01 but also marks a significant transition in my own career.

At this point, I have not yet had the opportunity to meet the Captain, which I hope will occur soon. Establishing a professional relationship with the command team is essential as I settle into my responsibilities. Currently, I am in the process of adjusting to my new quarters, which offer a considerable upgrade in size and comfort compared to my previous accommodations as an Ensign. The additional space designated for department heads allows for a more organized and functional living environment, which I find beneficial in balancing my duties and personal needs.

I look forward to embracing the challenges ahead and contributing to the success of our mission on the USS Eminence.
