Meeting With the Captain

Yadira was going crazy with all the changes. First it was with the new captain who took over from the ladt, and now another change? "I wish Starfleet would make up their minds and fast", she said to the bird looking at her. "New captain....new captain...new captain...... Aye matey", said the bird. "Oh you silly nut.....shut up" she said laughing. After putting him in his cage, she headed for the captain's ready room to meet a new captain again.

An NE Ensign walked up to the Commander and said, "Commander, I believe the Captain would like you to report to him in his quarters. He is not a 'fan' of the ready-room idea.

"His quarter's? Odd place to meet but fine with me. Thankyou Ensign," Yadira said and found her way to the captain's quarters and hit the door chime.

A minute or so went by before a response was heard....

"Oh, come in please."

When the Commander walked in she could see the Captain in jeans and a tee-shirt that read, "I am the Captain."

Yadira saw the shirt and almost laughed but contained it....."Commander Yadira Tristen House Kilrah reporting. I am the CEO of the ship. Welcome captain to the Eminemce. It is a pleasure to meet you sir. Can I offer you a drink later after shift? I have a vintage bottle of bloodwine just waiting to be sampled", she finished.

The Captin stopped what he was doing and walked over to Yadira. Offering his hand to shake Wells replied, "Thank you."

"Your quite welcome captain," she said shaking his hand, smiling warmly.

The Captain continued...

"We will be getting underway the day after tomorrow. Please work with the XO and make sure everyone is onboard. I do not want have to find someone when it is time to depart, Commander. Also, please make sure your department is ready to go as well. I will want a full security report by 0900 tomorrow."

"Understood sir. You will have it before we launch", Yadira said.

"Very well then, you are dismissed."
